I was coming from an overall standpoint, not picking our a particular post of your but your posts as a collection.

Well, I'll keep commenting on the things that I think are worth commenting on.

If that gets too much for you to bear, theres always the foe button.

You obviously don't like Hughes but can you not see that the squad is now a lot stronger and with two or three decent signings we could really kick on next season? Most the shit that leaves us very weak in certain areas when we get an injury or two were not bought by Hughes.Next season Gelson,Benji and co won't be having to play.

benji and gelson have hardly played this season so how you can think them not being here next season would make a difference is beyond me.

Well ok then Caicedo,Evans,Vass,Benji,Hamman and Gelson.Between them they have all played quite a bit. Also when people go on about him not being able to change a game, with the likes of them on the bench I don't think we can truly judge that yet.

BUT, I have absolutely no faith in Mark Hughes actually managing that group of players to a satisfactory level. Assembling the squad is one thing, but then knowing what to do with it is an entirely different kettle of fish. I'm afraid I just don't believe in him.

Interesting, I understand the offs he has had with some players (ie. Elano) have been because Hughes' time in control has been a huge shift from the relaxed easy atmosphere of Eriksson to a hard tough regime of work and discipline. The way I understand it is, the reason we have had some issues this season is that some players had become used to this rather lazy way of doing things and Hughes doesn't accept that.

And of course, we should disregard statements from any first team player talking on this issue to the press saying that he's just the right man for the job - sure you know better..hmm.
I couldn't give a shit if he cuddles them or bollocks them in private. That really isn't what I was getting at. It's the fact that we don't practice set pieces that bothers me. It's the fact that he plays an out-of-form right back at left back for two games despite it being clear after 5 minutes that it was not working that bothers me. It's the fact that his idea of changing the course of a game when we're losing is to take off an attacking player and replace him with a third DM that bothers me. etc etc etc.

I basically think the guy is fucking clueless when it comes to managing a football team. Just my opinion though.

Mark Hughes has the best record of any City manager in the premier league. Check the facts.

Ericksson 55 from 38 matches - 1.44 points per match
Hughes 47 from 37 matches - 1.27 points per match

How Hughes has the best record is beyond me.

Sven; Premier League, Fa Cup, League Cup, Uefa Cup. Win Percentage 42%
Mark Hughes; Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, Uefa Cup. Win Percentage 44%

.
You can't compare them like that. SGE did never get to meet the football giants from Cyprus, Faroe Islands and Denmark.

Certainly some of the more vocal minority of City fans, who want to change the manager every time the team loses, could do worse than take a leaf out of the board's book.

from the article inquestion, if the shit fits...................

What you really meant to say was Chris Bailey article (the voice of someone who agrees with me).

Those who believe that spending £100m should bring instant glory and trophies flooding through the front door are, quite frankly, deluded.
He's way off the mark with that,PMSL,glad we aren't like that on here:)

This person you talk about doesn't exist.

And if you need to resort to lying about people with a different opinion to you it just tells me that you don't have a convincing of your own to make.

So let me get this straight... last year we had a bunch of lazy, half hearted wasters, managed by a chancer... whereas this season we're fitter, stronger and led by a man with drive and determination.

Yeah, that makes sense.

The bit that doesn't is the fact that even after loading him up with an additional £100m of talent, he is worse than the shite manager of last season?

Do you think instead of going for a better manager as we have done this season, we should have gone for a worse one... we might have ended up with more points that way!
