Just because I want to chat about him some more and I have nobody to really discuss this stuff with in my normal daily life, I'm going to bump this up. Pulisic is really coming on and the hype will only increase. Getting a lot of time in Dortmund and just getting better and better. I'll say it again.. I'd prefer he stay at Dormund for another couple years at least, but if he leaves there, I want City in the bidding. The kid is as good as any 18 year old I've seen in a long time.

This is a great video talking about him growing up in PA and going to Germany to play for Dortmund and working his way up to the first team, then getting the call up for the USMNT. If you are a fan of his as I am, there isn't much new information, but it is done very well.

Good video that. Shame he clearly liked the Rags as a youngster but I agree with you that he should stay at Dortmund until at least 22 or so. That's still four years away

I am usually so lukewarm about the the U.S. men's team, but Pulisic is starting to change that. He plays beyond his years and it seems inevitable at this point he will become the greatest American talent ever. And unlike Donovan and Dempsey he will have a larger role to play in Europe.

Even last night when he didn't do much, you could see that Mexico was rolling to him which is what freed up the chances that others had. Mexico just wouldn't allow him to dictate the match but he still had an impact.

Clearly CP is the most promising US player ever. Dempsey, Donovan, Bradley all spent time in EPL, Bundesliga and Serie A, but none were every quite as good as CP has been. His father's insistence that as a youth he start playing futsal has really honed his ball skills. Now he just needs some help around him on the USMNT.

said at Christmas this is the best young player in the world and i have watched him , he does drift out of games frequently but every now and then he does something brilliant just like Messi. I do not think we will ever see him at city

Pulisic is good but I still rate BVB's Dembele as the best young player in the world. USMNT will be better in the long run when it's led by Pulisic and the trio at S04 among other foreign based Americans.

Never seen a player that is so similar to kaka in the way he plays! Got a great future ahead of him but I think it's abit to early for him to come to us

Pulisic is talented and will eventually go for big money but I have my doubts we will see him playing for City.

You never know. If he does take his game to the next level I could see us plucking him when the time is right. Being American would be a potential marketing boon for a PL club.

Very overrated.
I'm from the States so take the following with a grain of salt :-)
========
I disagree that Pulisic is overrated - he's only 18 and already plays in the top flight of one of Europe's top clubs and has made significant contributions there. This will spark huge interest, especially given that he's bound to improve as he ages.
=========
As for Pulisic joining City within the foreseeable future - I doubt it - we're already very strong at attacking mid - which means we won't have big interest in him and which means that he won't be interested in joining our squad given the huge competition for a starting spot.

There's a reason he's normally mentioned by pundits who cover more than just the PL, he's one of the brightest talents under 20 in Europe right now. I actually rate him higher than Ousman Dembélé who has just been valued at €90m after Barca showed interest. If we wanted him he'd cost big money and we have options there already so it would have to be a lot further down the line.

Rating him higher than Dembele is a bit too much, but CP is a wonderful talent and one of my favourite prospects anyway.

I don't know I'm no expert on German football but from the stats and what I've seen him play I'd say he has some way to go yet(Dembélé) to justify those kinds of transfer fees, just the other month I was naming him as someone better than Rashford in the same age group but their stats were very similar really at that time, he must have had a great end to the season if that tweet is correct(Rashford nowhere to be seen I notice).

The reason why I rate Pulisic higher is Dembélé seems more of a player who relies a lot on his pace to beat a man than his natural ability(pace is an asset too I know it's just personal preference because pace doesn't always stay with a player), maybe I need to see more of him if he has shown he's on par in that regard if that's the case. Isn't Pulisic a year younger or so too?

Pulisic is 1,5 yrs younger. As I said, I like him a lot, but Spain produces players like him in numbers. Pulisic's goalscoring ability is really special, but I still think of him as of another dwarf press-resistant playmaker/attacker which Spanish NTs have in abundance (our Diaz is a good example). He's wonderful and I'd like to see him under Pep, but he's not unique.

Dembele is. He's a player that can combine playmaking in 8/10 areas with fast dribbling through the middle, a truly rare quality. Not a winger, more like AM with a speed of a winger. Basically, a Messi type of player (or R9 in his Inter days when he often switched between 10/LW/ST positions). In terms of talent I'd put him on Mbappe shelf, a couple of levels higher than Rashford.

Edit: I'm aware of the season's stats, CP scored more that OD, that doesn't change my opinion.
I think the numbers could be interesting for BM members:
Cristian Pulisic (turned 18 in Sept):3430 min for BvB and NT, 14 goals, 15 assists. Was frequently used as a sub.
Ousmane Dembele (turned 20 in May):4025 min, 11 goals, 22 assists.
Outstanding stats, some guys here use the term 'overrated' too easily.
