Hey all.

My mother in laws laptop is playing up.

She has Chrome, searches work fine but when u go to open anything it says err connection refused.

Anyone hot any idiot proof advice to sort?

Type chrome://net-internals in the search box
Left side click on DNS then click on clear host cache.
Left side click on sockets then click on close idle sockets then flush socket pools.
You didn't mention what OS you're using so I'll presume windows 10
Click on the windows start icon and type in "cmd", right click and run as admin.
type ipconfig /flushdns and press enter
type ipconfig /release and press enter
type ipconfig /renew and press enter
type ipconfig /registerdns and press enter
Close the window and close and restart chrome

If that does not work try this...

In the address bar type "chrome:// flags" then scroll down to experimental quic protocol and disable it. See if that helps.
