bought the chromecast dongle and works fine with the showbox app from my phone and streamed to my tv, my wifi is the fast BT one so no issues there but my wife has the latest samsung 7 inch tablet and when using that the picture on my tv is very bitty and no where near as good as when I use my S4 even though the picture on the tablet is perfect, so are then any of you guys in the know know why 2 different devices differ...

Does teh tablet have a load of apps running when your casting ?
Maybe the cpu is having a hard time multitasking.

By "bitty" do you mean "blocking" like bigish squares in the pic ?

She has hardly any apps on it as only got it after new.year and I ain't too savvy on the video settings? The picture is just generally poor quality, bitty, Jerky it's like the Internet ain't fast enough but it's perfect thru my phone

Go to settings and look for "mirroring" or "display", something of that nature.
You may see a tab about streaming quality or general video quality.

There are settings in Chrome browser that allows you to adjust the picture quality. Click on the Google cast symbol and then options...there are three

Extreme
High
Standard

cast from the tab and adjust the settings till you get the picture quality you want

Chromecast will automatically downgrade the picture quality if the WiFi signal is not giving a fast enough connection.

You could try connecting the Chromecast dongle via an HDMI extension cable and moving it up or out, or you could move the WiFi router itself perhaps.

Just in case you don't know, the signal from your phone/tablet/laptop connects to your dongle via the WiFi router.
