Anyone got one? I need to know if you can cast live tv from the itv and channel 4 hubs. Read somewhere you can only cast catch up stuff. Any advised l?

Between the Firestick and the Roku stick, we use the Roku the most, mainly because it has NowTV for occasional Sky Sports/Movies etc. Don't think this is available on Firestick. The NowTV stick is a feature-limited Roku stick but has all the BBC, ITV & C4 apps available and sometimes comes with bundled NowTV passes but not many deals around at the moment.

Can't cast from the apps, you can cast any 'tab' in CHrome but the performance isn't ideal. As mentioned, the latest Amazon firestick has a lot of apps you can download and its plenty powerful enough to use.Anyone got one? HD Firestick with voice control remote is the dogs bollocks.

Yeah you can install now tv but manually not from there App Store and still works fine.

I think side loading only works for the 2nd generation firestick?
Edit: thinking about it that may have been VPN specific.
