Everton for a few years (I'm guessing 2006-2012) were always a bogey team - Tim Cahill always seemed to bag against us.

All the above we used to beat even when we were shite. Who remembers top of the League Burnley tipping up in the 80’s outplaying us for 45 minutes and going in at HT 4-0 down with Wanchope notching a Hat Trick?!! Didn’t John Bensons City beat Norwich 4-0?

I thought the definition of a bogey team is supposed to be one that is considered to be inferior to the team they manage to regularly beat?
Even when we were shit I don't think we were really inferior to any of them?

I remember Boro being a Bogey Team for us in the 90s (standing out even in that era)

A Bogey Team surely can be any team you historically struggle to beat/get shite results against etc regardless of status (thus Norwich/Villa etc can’t beat us even when we are shit -which is true!)
Saying that I’ve another top candidate Bogey Team…

they, the dippers and the rags are Pep's bogey teams, which is awkward when you're trying to win things.

Awkward yes, but I think that Pep has aquitted himself rather well.

Been to see City at Notts Forest 4 times lost every time plus the infamous cup tie at home makes them my 1st choice ,next up Middlesbrough then Wigan.
