City’s last penalty at Old Trafford

That red card decision for Vincent Kompany I think in an FA cup game at the Etihad still astounds me.

Young's tackle on Aguero should have been not just a penalty to us but a red card for Young.

Anderson on Micah.

Then we see them getting penalties such as the one in the FA cup final or Rashfords goal being awarded last time out.

What was the Oliver match again?

A 1-0 victory under Pellegrini, maybe 14/15?

Three stonewall shouts turned down, all on Aguero
I'm pretty sure you're right about 14-15. Oliver gave such a red-shirted performance he was seen by the media (and PL/PiGMOL) as a top referee in an instant.
The most worrying aspect is that he is now one of the best refs in the PL but hasn't improved one iota. The quality of the others has just tumbled.

i re-watched the highlights of that game, and i don't remember it being that frenetic and incident filled, it could have 7-3!

i think there were actually 4 penalty shouts, but one was a handball from about 30cms and rightly was ignored. 2 of them were fouls on Aguero, first one was penalty all day long, no question, and the 2nd was a pen in the modern VAR world but quite hard to spot in real time (maybe i'm being far to fair!). The other on Ya Ya was a reckless challenge but the United player got the ball through his legs, unsure what the rules are on that. Finally, Rojo could have snapped Di Michelis in two with the challenge in which he injured himself.

Also, Smalling rightly got sent off but on reflection Hart lost it a bit with that little head shove on Oliver. I always think, if the refs are really as bent as people think, that is a piss-easy opportunity to send off the keeper for the team you are meant to be 'against'!

That's the one.
At one point Joe Hart confronted the spineless cheat.
Hart should have been red carded for putting his head in his face. Proving you're point he's a cowardly bottle job.

He fucking hates us. As others have said look at his face when he has to allow our second goal against the swamp last season.

Just read that since the inception of the Premier League there have only been 5 penalties awarded to the opposition at old scaffold.

5

The last one to be scored was in 1993.
I don't think that's correct.

I just had a quick look and De Gea alone has faced 20 penalties at Old Trafford in the Premier League.
