City’s New Kits - 2021/22

Did we on occasions wear burgundy shorts with the home shirt whem Peter Reid was playing. Did they forget to wash the shorts and have to wear the away kits.
The Villa away win in 1990 when Peter Reid scored was wearing maroon shorts as well as a 1-0 defeat at the shithole when Bryan Riggs didn't score his first rags goal.

I'm a bit obsessive with colours and remember small details like these. I have a feeling we wore the maroon shorts with sky blue shirts a couple of more occasions but definitely those two matches.

I quite liked the look to be perfectly honest.

Not sure if they have been posted yet, but here is the away and 3rd shirts.

Away (white) Navy (3rd)

Surely they haven’t gone all blue again ffs
These kits are designed at kids and sales. White shorts can only be so different as they have to contain a City badge, the puma logo, and be white all in a small amount of over priced very thin shiny fabric. This means once youve got a pair for quite a lot of money there is no point buying another, so making them blue is commercial sense from that point of view. Not good for parents though probably, or full kit wanker adults

The traditional home colours of Manchester City are sky blue and white, and in my opinion should never change, those colours represent everything about the club, they are our identity.

Away and third kit the club/ manufacturer can do as they wish but please leave the home kit alone.

Home: Coventry City 18/19
Away: Global Hypercolor 1987
Third: Training Kit or something I dunno

Actually I don't mind them. Think the home kit will probably look good in action.

Coventry ? thats a depressing thought. We have some right imbeciles making kit decisions. It's not that hard to have a nice looking kit every year.
