City’s New Kits

Home kit is OK. Nothing special. Inspired by the 03/04 kit and that was average as well.

I fucking despise the away though.

The player versions are way thinner than the replicas. They are designed for playing a 90 minute game. Better off buying the replicas, cheaper, thicker material and an embroidered badge.

Couldn't agree more, i love my umbro shirt but so wish it didn''t have the fucking phoenix/eagle/sesame street character on it

Because fans would pick something very similar each and every season. Same with away kits too.

Like it or not they have to differ in design each year to sell. We are the fastest growing kit sellers in asia and the designs have to be kept as fresh as possible. Left to the fans and it wouldnt differ much to the plain blue with a white rounded collar every year

Also, puma pay £50m a year to sell our kits, its on their toes to get a return on that , even though they make a big loss each season, they wont put the trust in designs in anyone but themselves. The club get very little in the way of input even

Given how sub boaty mcboatface some of puma's efforts have been I'm not sure that's too bad a thing.

It's true that they are designed for kids to buy and wear but we still have to look at the bloody things!
