One of my all time favourite City fixtures which I've heard many tales of blues missing the fixture for various reasons.

Original squad signed match ball, Steve Redmond match worn shirt, Official match programme signed after the match by hat-trick scorers Tony Adcock, David White & Paul Stewart which belonged to David White’s father, match ticket, Original press photo signed by hat-trick scorers Adcock, White & Stewart, Original MEN paper, Squad signed hat-trick ball awarded to David White, Official club VHS match video, Squad signed official match programme & Watford fixture match programme cover feature signed by hat-trick scorers Adcock, White & Stewart

Love that shirt mate.

I will swap you for my Georgi Kinkladze Magazine, with poster still inside :-)

Two of my favourite games back then was this game against Huddersfield.

And the demolition Derby of the Rags in September 1989.

No one gave us a chance in that game,Rags were spunking money left right and centre on Big signnings.

The build up was people talking about cricket scores in favour of the Rags.

I can still see the young Paul Ince shell shocked face in my Minds Eye.

Two Paul Mouldens!

I think we beat Plymouth midweek afterwards 6-1 or something. Great few days that

The signed programme (Adcock, Stewart and White) is from a later match. I remember seeing the photo being taken at the end of the Plymouth match, which was the game following Huddersfield

Edit- I just zoomed in on the image and can see it's a programme for Watford

Very memorable game and it seems mad that ex blue Andy May scored there consolation after ex rag Gidman gave penalty away

Was at the game and the kippax was very sparse yet if you talk to fans now who say they were there we could have filled the Eitihad twice at least.

One of the all-time best ever City shirts that! I reckon only bettered by the Puma 125 Years one

Still my favourite ever game Ive been to.

It was my twelfth birthday and i went with my dad. Normally we would have to leave around 10-15 minutes to go as my dad was a bus driver and he would do the football specials from Piccadilly to Maine Road but on that day he was off(or so i thought) so we stayed until the end and im glad we did!

I was talking to him about this last year just before he passed away and he told me he was supposed to be working but called in sick just so he could take me as a birthday treat as he wasn't on the football special that day

If you watch the game you can see me a few times in the second half. I was sat on the concrete wall in the Windy Corner right next to the corner flag. I'm wearing a blue and green coat.

Riyad Mahrez match prepared 2019 Community Shield 125 Anniversary shirt, outfield players wore a one off designed shirt while the keepers received a more low key design, which were just based on a standard team wear template shirt from Puma with ironed on name & numbers. Mahrez was originally selected to start the fixture but City officials were concerned with a tablet he had been given while away on International duty with Algeria so insisted he be checked by the City medical team before he played again as a precaution. Leroy Sane, who had virtually agreed his move to Bayern Munich replaced him and in true ‘typical City style’ was injured in the first 10 minutes and had to wait a full year before he completed the transfer, the Mahrez test came back completely clear so he could of in fact started the fixture which blues won with a penalty shootout over Liverpool.
