City 2015/16 revenue

Will the weakening of the pound, not decrease the actual increase when converted to dollars, the pound has been hit badly since the Brexit thing!

You mean like the Daily Mirror did? (Only the Mail didn't voice very strong support for Oswald Mosely's blackshirts unlike the Mirror)
No it was definately the Daily Mail:

Here Daily Mail owner Lord Rothermere is pictured with Hitler:

And what about Stoke? Owned by the Coates family and shirt (and now stadium) sponsors are BET365 which just happens to be owned by the Coates family, yet I have never once seen an iota of criticism of this set-up anywhere. If anything, Stoke's owners get praised for being shrewd business people (I don't disagree with that) whereas ours gets called out for being dodgy or bent despite him conducting business deals - often with other national governments - that are many times more significant than any that are done by other football club owners.
Anyone else reckon Bet365 must have taken a serious amount of bets on Stoke staying up this season?

The finances are always interesting to me, it is good to see how far we have come as a business and for an intelligent person it is clear to see the business is now sustainable. I think FFP maybe accelerated this but ultimately it was always the owners aim.

People will always compare turnover to United's and I do feel this season we will do exceptionally well if we are in £100 million of them, I expect more towards £130 million difference which is a big advantage to United but yet I do not worry about it with how the 2 clubs are run. I do also think it will be less in a couple of seasons as I am hopeful they will not get top 4 again this season, I think us, Spurs and L'pool will all finish above and so you have United, Chelsea and Arsenal chasing that 1 place. This has a bigger effect as it is 2 seasons without which effects various kit deals and sponsorships.

The CFG must be close to United's turnover if not past it soon and that is ultimately our owners aim, whether we will catch up United on our own I would not expect any time soon.

The amount of investment needed in the team is only going to reduce over time, I expect another big window next season (we can see the players Pep must want to replace) but then I expect just a couple of high quality each summer and a few with great potential. It will be the case at that point that we can afford any player in the world on the basis of them wanting to come and will have no worries about being able to compete.

The academy teams will start producing squad/ first team members as well as producing steady revenue.

My Mistake.
Pretty much the same as the Mirror back then, cept the Mirror went one stage further and encouraged it's readers to join the blackshirts.

Same owner back then as the Mail, though the guy who ran it on a day-to-day basis (Cecil King) clearly liked Oswald Mosley and he was in day charge of the paper the paper till the late 60s - long after the Rothermere family sold the paper.

The fall in the pound is bad news for the rags, they have debt if $ that they repay with £ cash flow. It also means that for the Glazer family to continue to bleed the same amount of $ out of the club it will cost them more in £.

For City it means it is a lot cheaper for our owners to invest in to the club although as has been pointed out the club does not require significant investment as it stands. Would make things like improving the stadium less costly for our owners.

Are you f***'ing sure? ;-)

Red Cafe will be in meltdown.

All the Rag's in London, the Home Counties, across the UK and the World, will be accusing us of every financial and related parties tricks possible. You can already feel their pain here in M/CR.
