Statistically its like this
If we continue along this path of 10 games (for easier math put the league to 40 games)
5 wins = 15 pts x 4 = 60 pts
4 draws = 4 pts x 4 = 16 pts
1 loss = 0 pts x 4 = 0 pts
Thats 76 pts at this rate if the league were 40 games.
Arsenal got 4th in 2008/09 with 72 pts.
There are 38 games. from the 2 "extra games (40)" we can minus 3 points to balance out.
Thats 73 pts and right about 4th place based on Arsenal's 4th place last year and our current form from 10 games.
5th place last year was Everton with 63 pts.
So, Even if we continue this "10 game form" of win 5, draw 4 and lose 1 every 10 games, we're still in great shape.
