Because he's been an injury nightmare and are delighted at getting £15 million for a player they no longer rate?
Happy enough with this signing and I'm sure all Blues will give him a warm welcome. Actually if the price is around £15million it's a lot less than we would have paid a couple of years ago. His injuries have hurt his price tag/hype but if he can get over them and listens to Mancini we have signed a very good talent. Remember his 'job' on Silva at the Etihad last year, he showed even aged 20 or so then, he could keep on of the world's great playmakers quiet - that's potential.
PS: Joe Royle is ITK and Barry Conlons wig deserves credit for telling us about it.

We won't get shafted on with Vinnie. His contract extension has put paid to that. My concern is with Real and David Silva. Still no news on his contract?
