7th.......We really can't go much higher in the short term although Bayern coming up!

lost any credability when i saw Everton at 25 having moved up 3!!!!!

They rely on data for a number of years so it is not a great indicator of where a team is at a given moment. Over time it evens things out though. We started last year at 22 and have been making the climb ever since.

Actually, although Everton does look weird, that's exactly what it does. It gives the best prediction of who should beat who right now. Weighted data from 3 years gives the best predictive result.

No ranking is ever perfect though and its always possible to say "I wouldn't have team X" there.

For most teams. As teams fall rapidly or rise rapidly it is a poor predictor as the past has to catch up to the present. Arsenal is currently a perfect example. They are not the 8th best team in the world.
 
They have Man City behind Bayern Munich, yet both teams are in the same CL group, and Man City is favored to win it.
