I echo what other Bluemooners have said that Wardle and Makin are true City Legends.

So many other Clubs have had a number of shit owners who took them to the cleaners like Portsmouth and Leeds. We were saved by guys who put their money before themselves.

its funny that its only took five of them ten years to dismantle the united empire and strangle hold on english football. not only did the new owners change our great club into one of the best clubs in the world but also change the premier league and uefa with fear and a rule change in FFP. not even chelsea and roman abramovich managed to have such a impacted in the game as sheikh mansour and manchester city have done in ten years

ten years ago you would be took by the men in white coats on the yellow bus with a big bastard needle to sedate you if you said what manchester city are going to do with the game on both fronts. the ward and rows of beds would have been full of manchester city fans climbing the walls it was that funny the united fans even laughed the loudest

but am sat here writing this post and manchester city are champions of england for the 3rd time and what we did last season to the premier league and the others was just about mission impossible 100 point and over 100 goals and so many records broken and a way of football that you can only dream about.

true but they wanted and got there money back plus a little bit more on top of the investment that was only a loan based and shares values they got back when the club was sold.it give them a nice little sum back on the market value at the time, but like you said more than once was the club in trouble so they helped out ???? and funny thing was they was part of the club that put us in trouble in the first place being a major share holder and backing the chairman

They lost money actually. As I explained earlier they lost money on their loans and they probably also lost money on their shares.

Think they paid wages a couple of times .they both lost out on price of shares .Everyone was backing Franny to get rid of Swales
They were defiently instrumental in gettin rid of Franny
