I remember when we use to sign players like rocastle and think wow.now all though we haven't put up a great fight this year the sickness in your stomach feeling isn't there because I know we will be winning things again soon.but the feeling when we do win is immense and I don't want to stop feeling that joy.thats why it's important to always remind ourselves that we were shite and also are what we went through.
The resident rag in our village has been boasting about their league win and trying to pity me. I replied that if city don't win for the next 34yrs I will still support them, he could not answer that.

Agreed. I have similar conversations and they are always baffled! The few that do understand the words are completely confused by the crying every time I see the Agueroooooooooooo goal. Emotional loyalty is so far beyond plastic!

I agree in the main with the OP but lets not get carried away now with sentiment, we lost the PL and the FA Cup this season, both competitions I feel City had the ammunition to win and should have won.
Our players need to take a long hard look in the mirror in the close season and come out all guns blazing in August.
We have all the skill and talent we need at our club now, a little more desire and the ability to get into the trenches when required is all we need.
I am loving being a City fan at the moment and applaud our achievements to date in the new era. Its time to kick on now and not settle for second best, not to accept defeat so readily and to establish ourselves as the best team in this land by results not reputation. cant wait for next season.. Is it ok not to feel overly optimistic?
Losing to Wigan and Norwich in the same week.
The players clearly dispirited
Kompany doing his own lap of gloom
Tevez - unsure as to future AGAIN
Dzeko - apparently staying
Managerless - and even the chosen replacement considering his options
PR disasters
etc

Yes - got my f**k*ng gloomy head on this Monday morning

Yay - the future's blue ... etc !

Wow!! A positive thread on Bluemoon, what the hell has happened?

Agree with everything said.

After nearly everyone at club has been criticised by people on here, from the people at the top, players, to the media department and former kit men, it's great that people can appreciate what we have.

Fa cup final
second in the league
Silva, Kompany, Kun - TO NAME A FEW
something we have dreamt about for years -we are now living the dream
THANK YOU CITY LOVE EVERY MOMENT OF THIS NEW ERA

This is sad mate... we can't think like this, it's been a failure of a year. If we're satisfied with where we are we'll always be in the rags shadow!
