I watched City at the birdsnest and am really excited about the start of this season. The made Arsenal look pedestrian. A bit rain was no problem for them. City first out 2nd half when there was thunder and lightening and Arsenal wimps took another 5 minutes to come out! Ok we haven't brought in as many new players as others BUT the team is playing really well together. Kompany has signed up for another 6 years, Aguero has said he wants to win a lot more trophies with City, Tevez is look fit and ready......Bobby refuses to sell Balotelli. They've had a great run over the summer, beat Chelsea easily in the Community Shield and start the season at home against Southampton. I'm lovin it. Bring it on and good luck to the greatest City team in a long while. I don't care who comes and goes on the other side of Manchester and whether a certain manager's anger is driving him to try and win the premiership back. We're doing fine thanks very much and ready to take on all comers this season.

Agreed. Lots to be positive about.

Are you on this picture from Paddy O'Shea's before the game?

We need to tighten up at the back though ..... we're a bit too 'sloppy' at the moment , and we won't get away with it against the better sides ....... for me Nasri and Yaya were our best performers today , and we got away with it .... but others need to step up the plate a bit more .
