City at their lowest... top trumps

Spurs 1981 - Ricky Villa
Luton 1983 - absolutely choked
Gillingham 1999 - circa 92 mins
QPR 2012 - circa 90mins

when I watched us lose 1 - 0 at wycombe I thought we were dead and buried

as i did earlier when i watched us stuffed at elm park 3-0

and yes when I walked out (all alone) when Gillingham scored their second the fat bastard

Typical City turns out to be that we will always bounce back

to the point that we will beat the european champions away with our second string

and that the 'greatest team ever tm' now lives in our shadow already and don't yet understand the extent of our future dominance

fuck me how times have changed lol

When we are riding high. I try not to think of the lows.

that works well when you can remember more highs than lows I suppose

for the rest of us that philosophy is doomed to failure

we descended shockingly into the old third division not very long ago and are unlikely to forget that or our phoenix like ascent back from it

I'm sure you know what I mean mate

Lincoln 4-1
Barnet 1-0
Liverpool 6-0
Derby 6-0

I went to the 4-0 Liverpool game on the Wednesday. Thought we played better second half so naively went back on the saturday thinking we would get a draw. 6-0 and was chased across Stanley park by margi Clare's love child with a pen knife!! Had better days.

oh my lord. remember the 4nil and the 6 nil.painful painful memories.
the 4nil was in the away end.normal city away from home big team shit.
the 6 nil? went with blue 2112..he had a work contact and we were in the scousers hospitality.
before the match, pissed , taking in all the glory years that they,d had(trust me they won a few cups)
all the history blah blah blah hiccup!....and then to the match.sitting in the very nearly best seats in the house , sitting there, as an away fan, at Anfield, surrounded by scousers,as we get beat 6nil, 6 fucking nil!!!...oh well played city(why do you have to fuck my life up?) well played city. we were shit.and we were sick of it......city have often taken a bea ting off the red scouse...boxing day 2013 is a big day for me. a very big day. i know we,ve beaten red scouse at home in recent times, but trust me, the pain of that 4nil ..6nil week added together with all the rest of the defeats in the 80s and 90s..

WE HAVE TO SMASH THE SCOUSERS ON BOXING DAY.please.

Losing at Shrewsbury in FA Cup 1979 - couldn't believe it. And the love of my life decided to stay with her husband and stopped seeing me. What a bloody awful combination of circumstances.

I wanted to kill him.

she did right, i'm better looking than you.

Nowhere near as bad as some of the old 'classics' but i recall a 5-0 gubbing under KK at Chelsea that was particularly bad. It was i think the first time I'd ever paid 50 quid to get into the match. Was outraged as much by that as the display.
