City bus scheme for home games

Used the bus once from Timperley and it was excellent, you are playing a blinder.

Have you got any spare time to sort out the God's awful Metrolink.

This seems an excellent service. Could you consider putting on a bus from Midlothian Scotland?

Not your fault mate. It’s one of those things.

I think the driver was in a rush because he was 15 minutes late and chanced going a different way in case Gt Ancoats was busy. But it does say the bus is meant to go from Victoria an hour before kick off but in the last month it seems to always end up being 45 minutes before kick off due to arriving late.

When we added the Wardley stop, we expected the journey to Victoria to take longer. However, the driver was arriving around 30 minutes early. Rather than keeping supporters waiting on the bus, he took them to the stadium first and then returned to Victoria. Unfortunately, this meant he got caught in traffic and arrived late for you.

We’ve now adjusted the timetable for future fixtures, so the service should run more smoothly. Please let me know after the next game if there are any issues, and I’ll review the timetable again if needed.

And yet City were selling parking for it at £6 a car until last night. Wonder how many that affected turning up today and finding it closed and no bus service if you got parking nearby ?

Usually full. Midweek early kick off means fewer use it but it’s still well used. Overall it’s a great service. Obviously takes longer but at least you can sit back, chat with the regular users & not worry about parking. Parks at Connell College - not far from ground.
