Hi, I have spoken to the operator who have confirmed that the bus in running. Unfortunately, the bus isn’t tracking so I cannot advise exactly where he is but he is on his way. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Cheers, turned up. At the risk of sounding like Eddie from Early Doors, Any reason why it takes the A6 / Mount road route rather than straight down the M60? Always painful both ways, with traffic.

Thanks for your feedback, it’s really valuable to us. We are always looking at ways to improve customer experience, whether that be a recommended route change or a new stop. Hello, unfortunately the driver got stuck in traffic driving from the depot to the first stop which caused the delay. I am really sorry for your experience today, it really isn’t the standard we expect. We hope you have a better experience in the future.

The bus is late for first stop in Macclesfield every week, it’s not good enough, can be 10-40 mins late. The route as mentioned above isn’t efficient either
The card machine didn’t work today, so at least it was free

Sorry but this is not a one off. The match day bus 8 is ALWAYS late to Tytherington. At least 30 minutes & has been 40 minutes late several times. The drivers are not setting off early enough to get to Macclesfield on time & this has a knock on effect. Not once do I recall the bus arriving at Tytherington on time.

Additionally, drivers are now making impromptu stops to let people off on way home which delays us even more. There are supposed to be 4 stop from Etihad - Bramhall; Poynton; Tytherington & Macc but drivers are now stopping at impromptu places to let people off. It was just one initially but it’s encouraging more people to ask for stops so they can get off nearer their homes. Nice for them but getting to be a nuisance.

No I agree, it really isn’t good enough!

Leave it with me, I am going to have a look at the data from today, and previous fixtures to see where the drivers getting delayed. I will then have another conversation with the operator to see if the driver can leave earlier from the depot to ensure he is arriving on time.
