It's not like me to moan, but what the hell is going on with the clothes sizes, I bought a hoody just for going to the gym and the odd run round the block (I don't want you to think I wear the club shop by the way I am far to old for that nonsense) it's 3 XL whilst it fits me perfectly, I was expecting it to be a bit baggy, it's the same with my coat

Other clothing ranges 2 XL is fine

It must make it difficult for anyone buying a gift, because they are not sized like any other clothing range I have seen

By the way I am tall and broad of shoulder (before some accuses me of being a porker)

The womens range is just as bad got a jacket a size bigger than i am its too fitted got a hoody a size smaller and its too baggy where the shoulder lines are are half way down my arms no shape to them they were gifts and like ducado says when they are gifted its really difficult i found the umbro stuff better fitting, the shirts are awful this year too not the design the general fit to them. Ah well

I can never get my head round the sizes, I bought a coat in the biggest size and its err snug shall we say and its sized bigger than stuff on the high street that I've bought which fit ok!!!

I bought a medium size polo shirt at the shop on a recent visit only to find it too small when got it home. I had to swap it for a large which fits just right.
I have never bought a large size shirt before and can assure all that I have not piled any weight on recently.
I agree clothe sizing is a problem this year.

I think Ducky has done the right thing by letting us know he's XXXL in the shorts dept.

I reckon Rascal's at least XXXXL and De Niro is XXXXXL.

GDM is XXXXXXXXXXXXXL and Corky just got told he was having a laugh for even asking.

I' m M, for anyone who's interested.

So that's the meaning for 10% off :-)))

It's strange that the OP is saying his sweatshirt fits smallish, because this was my experience:

I lost a bit of weight and wasn't sure on the nike sizing on the kit, so I ordered the size I usually wear as it would have been in an umbro kit, as I was afraid that shiny material wouldn't be so forgiving around the belly and that a little big wouldn't be so bad. I was wrong. The 3x nike sizing is like American sizing, the shirt is one of the biggest pieces of clothing I own. Far too big. the arms are big. The neck is big. It's huge. Almost unwearable. I didn't want it to fit like the players wear theirs, where it's kind of skin tight, but this is too much. Oh well, I have learned for when I eventually purchase the away and 3rd kit.

I also ordered a few 2x t-shirts this year that are way too big, but I have a 2x sweatshirt and some tees from a few years back and they still fit fine. Who knows.

This applies especially to the designer type clothing.

The good thing is that the Shop will replace without hesitation if there is a problem.

I bought the correct age kit for my youngest and the shirt wouldn't even go over his head. I contacted them and they sent larger sized items straight away.

Top service.

If they're made by Nike the sizes seem to be smaller for a start. Also everything's made out in Asia where their idea of XL is very different to ours.
