City fan, 63, attacked by Brugge fans | Invited to Etihad by club (p 27)

Didn't realise who he was until his spot had finished. The sound was crap, he should have had the mic that Richards had.

Really good to see him out & about.
He didn’t speak English. He had a translator. He seemed genuinely happy to be there though. Top work from the club and great to see his recovery.

Such a soulless club aren't we:

Guido de Pauw welcomed at the Etihad

Well done to all involved in arranging this for him and his family.
We really do have a fantastic club. My daughter has Cerebral palsy and needed major surgery a couple of years ago so the club decided to give her a treat? What a day she had, met all the players, had breakfast with Zabba, opened the team sheet, sat in the bosses seat and then watched the game in one of the boxes. After her surgery they invented her back for a signed shirt and was greeted again by the players. From the outside world we've been really misunderstood as a club. But who gives a monkey?

This club is wonderful, off the field. On it, well...

Thanks to the club in their support Guido and his family. To get past traumas like that and step into a stadium must be a big step, and the City family in support can't be bad.

It was great for Guido and his family to be at the game. The Club have been great and so have the OSC and Blues around the world in backing Guido.
