As I remember it, there were lots of fans on here after getting back from Germany saying that the behaviour of some fans towards the Thomas Cook staff was disgraceful and an embarrassment to the club. I might be wrong, but I seem to remember Coach 1 being the focal point of this.
Now I don't know if this guy was involved in abusing the staff or if he was even on that coach, but this abuse definitely happened and his only defence seems to be "Yeah, I was hurling abuse at people, but so were loads of other people. Why pick on me?"
I'm sorry, but this is the sort of defence a child comes out with shortly after getting caught doing something naughty at school and spitting his dummy out. If he did something wrong, he should be dealt with. The fact that others aren't being treated the same way is, I'm afraid, completely irrelevant. They got away with it, he didn't. Tough shit.
Take it on the chin and serve the punishment without whining to the press, cos that certainly won't help push the club to overturn the ban.
