My name is Gianluca and I am currently studying a Masters in Sports Management. For my final thesis I have chosen to do a studies on fan engagement, and I have chosen Manchester City as one of my pillars as they are one of the biggest clubs in England. I thought what better way to get the best possible information than to ask the fans themselves?

Good luck with that. There doesn't seem to be much fan engagement with City nowadays. Despite the best efforts of our City Matters representatives.

Corporate hospitality, football tourists, z-list celebrities .... that's where it's at nowadays.
Us legacy FOCs just get in the way of their plans for the Super League.

Fan engagement for City consists of constant shite to sell City+, or the worldwide product, or meaningless questionnaires that never lead to change, and a complete disregard for 'legacy fans', the ones who were here during the shit times.

Most of all, failing to offer any meaningful communication on any major decisions that affect fans (ESL, CL, Season Tickets as a start for a hat-trick in just 3 months). I won't even mention the Everton ticket debacle, the ESL narrative on OUR website written by a Rag, Constant failures to deliver on time with news, so the site promises to deliver ticket news on a Tuesday.....Tuesday arrives and nothing. Not even an apology for failing to hit their own targets.

Fan engagement? My arse.
