City Fans Leaving Early/Empty seats

I don't understand it and never will but you don't spoil my day out so crack on doing what you want to do fella ;-)

As you say people can do whatever they want - but it was refreshing to see more people stay until the end against Shakhtar.

I have a ST in the family stand and Champions League is a very different demographic to league matches - there was a far better vibe in there than usual because I think a lot of people were there as a one-off match and wanted to enjoy every minute.

Whatever the reasons for leaving early it's undeniable that having more people there at the end of the match is favourable to playing in front of a half empty stadium. Hopefully some of the people that go as a one-off enjoy it and become regular match going fans.

Years ago at Maine Road the match day bus used to leave at 4:45 so you had to leave early.

Always pissed me off.

Today will be 4th home game on the bounce .Big up to all those who attended especialy those who will have attended all 4 a magnificent effort .People have allsorts of reasons for getting to the game late or leaving nearly that up to them it doesnt concern me. It was great. Made a difference it being absolutely packed. We need that every week. Have to sort the season ticket issue out. I think the answer is you don’t use it then you lose it.

Rags filled the empty seats

I came in today around 50 mins before kick off.

As I approached block 116 the noise was impressive, I actually thought City were piping in crowd noise or the rags had got in early.

But no.

The 116 etc gang were on it and were practising and lubricating with gusto.

Top job which carried on into the game.

Not many early leavers today...so if you can stay till the end at the derby then you can stay till the end at every match. that would be appreciated. No more excuses. Thank you.
