If we have thousands of fans that are happy to miss a winning goal when we are fighting for a top 4 spot then that sums up our current support.
You would never, ever see that at the swamp.
FA cup semi final at Wembley, at least a third of that lot cleared out before the end of the game down only 1-0.

I've got my own opinion on serial early leavers but that's a very good point mate. I couldn't believe how many of their lot left with a couple of minutes of injury time still to play, especially as they've been the masters of scoring late goals in the modern era. It was downright bizarre.

FWIW I think it's mainly the North car park. I don't drive often but if I do I go in there (because I don't know anywhere else). I used to make a break on 90 minutes but it's futile. Over an hour to get out yesterday but I've learnt to take some grub and something to do now, rather than get annoyed in a queue or miss any of the game.
It's almost a game now to some of them. Having left on 75 minutes earlier this season (to ensure I picked my daughter up on time). It was like wacky races - people sprinting down Joe mercer way, literally jumping in their cars and racing to the gate!
Not sure how they sort that car park out.

What hits a nerve is people having this false impression that they are better fans than others for the weakest of reasons. Telling people not to bother turning up - absolute traffic warden material.
