City & FFP | 2020/21 Accounts released | Revenues of £569.8m, £2.4m profit (p 2395)

I agree, so will we continue to approach FFP limits each and every transfer window or will ADUG decide otherwise ?

I ask because the amount we have to spend potentially is a recurring post on this thread whereas I am suggesting ADUG may allocate only a proportion for that purpose.
Yeah I don't think we will spend necessarily all we can spend for spending purposes. But I don't think Pep will have a 'budget' per se. He will simply be allowed to go after the targets he wants.

Does the new TV money kick in in this financial season (2015/16) or is the next one?

That is the crux of it for me.

I can't see Sheik Mansour taking anything out in dividends, because of this.

It would be better to re-invest, in either City or the CFG.
Yeah if the Chinese investment is looked at at face value then he's already made a large capital profit. I just don't think he will be looking to increase his annual income with dividends anytime soon.

Iirc the champion's league money is up this financial year and the pl money goes up again in 17/18.

Wasn't there some statement that the money was going straight into the club's accounts ready for our next nefarious dealings? Probably going right back to China by opening a new club.

In any case we can all forget FFP limits if Inter get taken over by this Chinese money as rumoured this week.

Champions League deal this year - 15/16
Premier League deal 16/17

The Chinese money isn't CLUB money - it's GROUP money at best. Can't be considered at all for FFP.

Getting taken over doesn't make a lot of difference in itself. FFP now allows a period (4 years?) where losses may be incurred after a major takeover.

Most certainly our owner does not need money from City, his main job is to invest cash.
However, having invested, surely he expects that investment to grow so his vision for involvement in the Football sector of business, particularly its global potential, is still a work in progress.
I can understand him using City as his flagship for attracting further investment but how much autonomy has he given to ADUG I wonder ?

For City of course FFP is history but if as you suggest Inter are potentially to be massively funded then we will see how other G14 clubs react.

If inter do gat taken over by a Chinese consortium, spend 100 of millions over the 4 years they are aloud to under new owner FFPR be interesting how they ever will be self sufficient?! Will they be looked at if say a big Chinese company sponsor them to the sum of 200m will it be looked at like ours was for fair value?

They're G14 mate, therefore any sponsorship they get is fair value and any other non-G14 club is judged in comparison (with prejudice).

Manchester City Football Club have signed a new partnership agreement with PAK Lighting, which sees the market leading supplier of high quality indoor and outdoor lighting products become the Club’s first Official Lighting Partner in China. This partnership allows PAK to continue to grow and provides greater presence for Manchester City in China.

Chinese ownership in the CFG already having a impact it seems...
