Listened to it once the other week in mates car, beyond that i have no need for their guff.

I just turned it on when someone said Stanloi was ranting about FFP.

i think when we look back on FFP it will be clear to see that it did what it was intended to do, it put the brakes on us and PSG and slowed down the progress we could have made. This bought time for the so called big clubs to come up with a plan to cope with us, I don't for one minute think that this is the end of FFP and i have no doubt there will be a sting in the tail somewhere for us.

Wasn't there a story about one of the Milan clubs being taken over recently? given the state of the Italian league finances how could they hope to build the club up again with the existing FFP rules.

Twatinni mentioned the Italian clubs didnt he.

Stanloi talking bollocks and spitting bile as per.
Straight in there wasn't he?

"this just leaves the door open for Man City to spend what they want"

"the billionaires have more power than UEFA"

No mention that it's the Italian clubs lobbying for change.

I absolutely detest the woman beating, sexual deviant. His voice makes my ears bleed.

So telling that Collymoron immediately homed in on us

Fuck Liverpool, it doesn't matter how much they deny it, they are no longer relevant to us.
Spurs and Everton are their rivals.
I'm more concerned their mates let them play in their game without fining them, unlike us

It's no surprise though is it. FFP was aimed directly at us and to a lesser extent PSG.

Exactly. Now the Dupont case is at the door, they are shitting themselves at the thought of evidence being heard that will cause serious, serious problems. Also the rags want to of load players, as do Real. The Italian clubs want to launder, erm sorry, spend money and we have a pot of cash to spend as do the Chavs. the money making merry go round of players sales and purchases needs, ours and PSG's millions. They have tried to stop us. They can't we have beaten FFP, so they get rid of it, SUPERB, that means we can better anything the rags, dippers, chavs, and gooners can offer. Shit, between us and PSG, we can outbid everyone.

From the article in the Echo it said they had debts last year of £50m and the year before of more than £40m but these were allowed as they were spent on the stadium and so not included which allowed them to scrape through

From memory they wrote off around £60m on the failed stadium development costs. But nearly all was done in the financial years before FFP monitoring.

Swiss Ramble has a post on their losses over the years that are due to stadium costs being written off. From memory it's around £1m.
I'm not saying you're wrong mate, in fact I think you are right, I'm just repeating what was in tonight's Echo, which to me suggests they didn't really pass FFP
They didn't but escaped sanction as they could presumably use the pre-June 2010 wage exemption.

Fuck em all, bring on the hurt, bring on the bile, bring on the salty tears that will taste so sweet. I cant wait for Wenger, Maureen, Brenda et al moaning its not fair. I love it, I love rags telling me they dont care about City and then getting so upset at our success and throwing words or phrases like organic and own money about. I love Sky and Talkshite ignoring anything good we do. I love watching the clueless cunts on Soccer Saturday or Sunday supplement spitting their venom because we are upsetting their preferred club. Dont hate it, revel in it, push them until it hurts City, then push them some more. Who wants to be liked? I dont care what fans from other clubs think, I dont care that Bobby or Manuel are over looked as manager of the season, that Sergio and little Dave are ignored for plaudits or recognition. I want to win and be successful, thats all that matters.

Bring it on.
I like you.

A month or two back he was saying how it needed to be thrown out and it was a pure elitist rule.

Is that the same wage exemption they used to fuck us over?

It's a bad habit, I just like having the radio on in the background and it's either that or 5live.

I assume that was a rhetorical question? But if it wasn't then the answer is yes.

Nothing dodgy about it of course.

Somebody just asked the question.

Can't find the post.

That is correct.

And there you have it folks. One of the cartel clubs needs investment from a billionaire to compete, and shortly afterwards Platini drops an unexpected bombshell.

May 2nd.

Thai investor Bee Taechaubol said he reached an agreement in principle to buy a stake in the AC Milan soccer team from former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s Fininvest SpA. <a class="postlink" href="http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-05-02/berlusconi-says-he-s-in-talks-to-sell-minority-stake-in-ac-milan" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/ ... n-ac-milan</a>

I don't really care to be honest.

The only thing that really pisses me off is that City won't be able to announce:
1. A healthy profit when the accounts are published.
2. We did it all with a long term business plan that had high investment but will deliver profits.
3. Spend a shed load of cash because cash flow is amazing and debt is non existent.
4.That we did this all with FFP restrictions in place.

This comment is sadly all too typical of our new breed of middle-class supporter.

Not true, when I saw him last week he was extolling the virtues of the hedgehog gutter brush.

Unlike you and me, Paul, he clearly isn't a man of the people. The man in the street would find him aloof and out of touch with their everyday lives.
