Looks like we have borrowed (what can only be assumed to be a very large sum) from Barclays Bank Plc, and as security for the loan Barclays have the right to retain our 2018/19 premier league income as security IF we were to default on the loan.
Unfortunately it doesn't give any details regarding the amount of loan or its purpose. Interesting....looks like His Royal Highness didn't want to cover this one though?

Just our TV money - a huge sum. There's a charge set against it for the loan.

Clubs like Everton have previously taken the TV cash upfront to bankroll transfers. They didn't have our owners though ....
