Is there a channel that I can get in here in Ontario, (Ottawa to be exact), that plays City games? The only premiership games I get to watch are the ones on Sunday mornings, and EPL retro, both on The Score. I watched Blackburn smoke Nottingham Forest 7-0 last weekend.

can you get setanta US...if yes, then you can get the games over in canada mate......

if not, just keep an eye out here on match days for free live match streams....you can view on your pc from anywhere mate ;)

Get setanta its available on bell, rogers and starchoice. You get to watch pretty much every city game. Also make sure you have sportsnet and the score, because sportsnet show the odd 3pm kick off on a saturday and the score normally show the 4pm sunday kick off with setanta picking up the rest. Its only $15 a month for setanta.

same problem in michigan had the joy to get up at 7:30 sunday to watch against west ham ruined my day in more ways than a typical city loss does

I swear, one of these days I am gonna fly over to Manchester City just to watch a game at the City of Manchester Stadium. It's gonna be sweet!!
Do it!

Although you will be called a "part-timer" by some on here...

so? we ARE part-timers. and they're stuck with us.

sorry, y'all, if i can't afford time-wise or money-wise to fly halfway 'round the world every weekend. i'm not going to do the math but i bet flying over for one match a year costs us about as much as it costs a manc to go to all the matches. sad thing about that is, most of the money goes to the airline instead of the club.

I don't like being called a part timer just because I can't make it to every game.

Usually I make it to 1 or 2 games a year, but the economy is so shit this year I can't. For me to make it to a game, I have to book a flight there and back, find a hotel, etc. While there I have to pay for transportation, food, and all that. Factor in the exchange rate and I'm totally fucked.

I still watch every game, which about half of the time means I have to wake up, half hung over, at 9 in the morning (or earlier-like the West Ham Game) on my day off to watch some shitty stream on my shitty computer. I don't see how I'm a part timer.

i feel ya.

those night games, like the uefa games, are on at 4 in the morning over here. i try but sometimes i just fall asleep (i hate when they're on the 'net only, as i'm worried if i fall asleep i'll roll over and crush my laptop. try explaining that to the warranty guys).

however, i am proud to be a part timer. i know i'm not from manchester. it's not a secret. guys like us may not make it to many games, but we represent all over the world. and that matters, in my opinion, because the premiership is on tv all over the world, and is almost certainly the most popular league in the world.

so when someone calls me a part-timer i think "yeah. the 4am part." when someone calls me a glory hunter i think "yeah. the glory of pierce leading City to relegation avoidance." i fully respect the lifetime of attendance, suffering, joy and heartbreak that full-timers like my friend Marty (the one who recruited me to City). we part timers ARE different, but we're all-in for City.

We have FSC (Fox Soccer Channel) in the USA.
I know there is a FSC Canada, check with your local cable company or you can get setanta if you have satellite.
The Villa game is on FSC today so check your tv guide or show up at a mates house around lunch time.

Im the same except I havent been able to make it to any games, I dont have basically any money as im a student. I have been trying to find the cheapest way over but its still too much for me. But I watch every game no matter the time, even though my class is mandatory at 2 today, which is the time that the game is on here, if I am not mistaken, im still gonna be watching it in class.

ya its same here in Ontario, its outrageous, streams are halfway decent most of the time and free so I am willing to stick with them until I can get myself over to Manchester, hopefully get a working visa in a few years.

If your cable provider offers Setanta Sports, you'll get every City match, although some won't be live.

<a class="postlink" href="http://www.setanta.com/ca/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.setanta.com/ca/</a>

The odd match will be on either the Score (Sundays only) or on Rogers Sportsnet (Saturdays).

Living in British Columbia (8 hours behind the UK), following City often means getting up at 4:30 on Saturday morning, which can be difficult, especially if you've been out the night before. I much pefer the 7AM starts.

I saw City beat Boro at COMS last season, and I'll be in London in a few wees to see City play the Gunners.
