It seems that the Abu Dhabi United (booo) Group for Ivestment and Development is no longer our owner as of last July. The new owner is Newton Investment and Development.

Is that the sportswashing complete then? That was quick.

Can I assume that Newton is just ADUG by another name? Perhaps adding new investors to their roll? Is it a newco or has Mansour bought it and reversed ADUG into it? Will mightily confuse the state owned lobby.

I don't think so. ADUG still exist as far as I'm aware and Newton presumably are the parent company of the CFG and nothing else. We've just put any "related party" crap to bed for evermore, no idea why it wasn't done like this from the off TBH.
