Anybody got stats on how we go in the rain vis a vis in the dry.

It seems to me we are far more dangerous when its pissing down.

Anybody anal enough to have stats on how go we go in the rain v how we go in the dry.

Take it to PMs.

M18CTID has told me for years City play better on wet pitches.
Good enough for me.

I am not joking I actually think our style is better suited to wet weather football and the opposition struggles to make an impact.

Be interesting under Pep to see are goal ratio and goal against in games that it pisses down for the bulk of the game as opposed to games under the sun or when it doesn't rain.

Thank god Stoke got relegated...

In the premier league when we stifle oppositions they are left to play the ball above the floor and it makes it easier for us for many obvious reasons.

So we have a team largely consisting of players from Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Portugal and France and they play better when it pisses down with rain.

As remarkable as this is, it is perhaps as well and does bode well for the season as I am confident that having had the nice weather in the summer it will now piss down with rain countrywide for at least the next 18months.

5-1 it was sunny
6-1 it was sunny
Gillingham it was sunny
Charlton 5-1 it was sunny
Blackburn it was sunny
FA cup V stoke it was sunny
QPR it was sunny

Etc etc etc

Yeah me too. We were challenging Spurs for 4th place and needed the points and GD.

Was nervous all second half. Typical city. Winning 6-1 and still nervous ;)

In the Championship winning season of 67/68 it pissed down almost every home game. The Football Pink nominated us The RAINING CHAMPIONS!!!!!
