City - just like watching Barca

I think we should play a formation similar to Barca.

Ireland has played a more defensive role this season and imo it doesnt use his full potential.
This formation would allow the defense/De Jong to break down attacks then pass it to either Ireland or Barry who can play those killer balls to get one of the strikers in.

Now we have a good squad the players are easily interchangeable, Kompany/De Jong Tevez/SWP Robbie/Petrov Ade/RSC


Anyone else like this?

Well against the scum it would be nice to clog the midfield with Barry DeJong and Zaba, walk out at old trafford and properly snap the bastards for the full 90.

I prefer Kompany instead of De jong to be honest.
so i would pick Kompany against stronger teams and SWP for the weaker ones

That's exactly how I see our strongest 11, and formation.

But I'd have to have Zabaleta in at fullback - he'd provide us with much more width, which is vital in a 4-3-3.

Aginst United we need someone who will kick United to shreds... we're talking, Barry or DeJong here. The tactics aren't nice but we need to doo that to show them who's boss. Their midfield is weak enough anyway!
