City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

For someone who understands the case more than me, the Times article makes reference to a 'mystery figure' in the UAE who paid city 30 million which was disguised as equity funding. Has this been debunked on here?

The hearing has been scheduled to last ten weeks, with the commission members expected to deliver their verdict at the start of 2025. The outcome of City’s separate legal case brought against the Premier League’s associated party transactions (APT) rules is set to be revealed in the next two weeks, which would then allow the 115 charges hearing to take place earlier. There is a belief that City have achieved some successes in the arbitration hearing.

A reminder of part of the original story in The Times.

The alleged inflating of fees wasn't part of UEFA and isn't part of the PL case. Everyone accepts it as fair market. This issue with it the funding of the sponsorships.

Yes. It's the funding for the Etisalat sponsorship in 2012 and 2013 that was paid initially by Jaber Mohamed and eventually Etisalat paid it back in 2015.
