Jim White " City have been pretty much throwing their weight around "
What a **** that man is.

If the PL had shown a scintilla of common sense in all this then maybe concern would be justified, but as they've acted like a bunch of two-year olds from day one I'm long past worrying about their actions.I have the same slight concern.....
I hope I'm wrong....
You raise a number of interesting philosophical points, and everyone, as you say has to put food on the table, but pontificating about matters of which you know little in a national publication naturally invites a level of scrutiny, and to do so in such a mercenary, misinformed and, as you say, intellectually dishonest way in turn invites ridicule.
You can only assume they must believe they have the numbers to vote it through. It’s crazy though, because either City will mount a challenge - or the IC may come back and clarify the rules remain illegal. They must be mad. Why not wait.I have the same slight concern.....

I'm not sure if they think they have the numbers or not but they are arrogant enough to call for a vote and try and bulldoze it through regardless of the legality of it. Very much a case of watch this space regarding any vote being taken at all.You can only assume they must believe they have the numbers to vote it through. It’s crazy though, because either City will mount a challenge - or the IC may come back and clarify the rules remain illegal. They must be mad. Why not wait.
Never get a noose over those ears!He was playing hangman
Are you responding to the right poster ??4 posts in a row, where you are shitting yourself.
I think you should go and change your diaper.
Maybe that's what they want. Put rules in place that we think are still unlawful so we look like the bad guys. The PL seem intent on going ahead with the vote - despite warnings that the amendments are still unlawful. Beginning to think they have reason to proceed which doesn’t bode well for us.
Think this is going to go legal again.
I was trying to think of an analogy for this latest twist and came up with a situation where you go to the doctor with a medical issue, and the doctor dismisses your concerns. However you go back and they agree there's something wrong and they were wrong to dismiss your concerns.
So they do some tests, then send you to a consultant who does some more tests. But before the test results come back, the GP sends you for surgery, even though they don't know what the specific problem actually isDo you have any idea what their reason to proceed could be,?I have the same slight concern.....
I hope I'm wrong....
I think we would all like to know.
I walked on principle & I told the CEO I think subconsciously, I knew that one day this would come so had ensured that when each time I was promoted I didn’t add debt. So go fuck yourselves !
Chomsky talks about being rewarded for being compliant but in my upbringing it was seen to be weak as piss, don’t back down, you may get battered but you can hold your head high.
