City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

I'm fuckin nervous about the match tomorrow, who plays, and where.
Who is fit and who isn't.
Yet i know the conundrum that will keep me awake tonight is who do i fucking hate most and want them to die, Bruno Fernandes, Jamie Carragher, Simon Stone or Richard bent **** Masters.

Fuck it, i'm having a few drams and getting wankered and hopefully they'll be all dead in the morning

Does anyone know if any of the clubs abstained from the vote, meaning they voted in favour? Democracy, ah!

Don’t vote either way. Vote for it.

Don't think we'll go back to court on this as such - I think whatever the tribunal's final deliberations are will have to be accepted by either side. If the rules are still unlawful then the PL have to go back to the drawing board, if these amendments are deemed sufficient then that's that. City will presumably be reasonably content with the relative successes we've had so far (i.e. effectively scrapping the Feb 24 changes, getting shareholder loans taken into account etc).
@Ric no one will answer me so I'm tagging you the big boss.
You say 'it will have to be accepted' but what happens if it isn't.
The Premier League have today issued a statement. They are insistent that the rules voted for today are legal.
If they refuse to back down after the tribunal release the full judgement, who can do what ?
Is it up to City to take them to a court ? If so which one.
Would the tribunal act ? Can they act ?
The PL have stated their case quite firmly so I can't see them backing down so what is the next step if they don't budge.

If Putin gets his way, they will. Unfortunately, so will we. Goodnight.

His name is Ric Turner not David Pannick.

They couldn’t just disregard the tribunal’s findings. It’d be preposterous. It would diminish all credibility of any future independent commission, and by default, the PL itself. Not sure if they could even feasibly appeal it tbh.

I can only assume that either Masters has a good idea of what the Panels conclusions are going to be and has shaped APT accordingly or he has bet his career that it’s close enough to stop City filing suit again based on the Panels findings.

Either way, it looks like a hurried, scared, and unprofessional move to ram it down City’s throat.

Had there been only City dissenting, Masters might have been able to point and accuse, but 3 other clubs agreed that this was hasty and unwise, and they too must feel slighted.

Who knows, maybe they just didn’t want to be part of such a rushed vote or maybe they are of a mind to join City in the next lawsuit against the Premier league?

It’s all setting up to be a bit tense and hostile between the Parties, esp considering the 115 should be decided in the not-too-distant future!

But why gamble before the panels decision?

I said it earlier in the thread that there must be an advantage to do this now rather than wait a few weeks.

Its just not clear yet.
