City launch legal action against the Premier League | City win APT case (pg901)

Earlier on this forum I asked about what specifically were the "amendments made." What was the exact, specific content of the amendments. That, after all, is the substance of this news item. But notice even on this report how those amendments are, again, not made clear and not made obvious and easily understood.

What I am doing with this post is implying that is very much on purpose. It is behind those amendments that corruption is hidden and pursued. It is through those amendments that covert interests will be pursued. And that is done in a way so as to go unnoticed. It was even designed as such with guilty parties thinking basically this: ("How can we get away with this so nobody notices easily?") And then the media itself is pressured to report on such things so as to not make such things obvious. So that media reports tend to talk around things without explaining what is actually going on.

Has there been any leaks of what Berrada said prior to the vote. All I can see is that he emphasised the importance of FMV but I’d be interested to know what the snide **** said.

Chelsea also spoke & City decided not to do assume everyone knew the result & it’s all a lot of dick shaking.

Lobbying wouldn’t have been about yes or no but about future investigations I’m certain.

Notice here again how they talk around things, again. And just explain the general process of voting.

Notice also here how the Premier League is presented in a positive light and Man City is presented as a some sort of a trouble maker who is in a minority compared to the rest of the league. All of that suits the Premier League's interests. This whole media report is structured as such.

Again, the central issue I am raising here is not about Man City versus the league or the league vs. Man City. The central issue I am raising here is about the substance of these news reports. What specific changes were made. It is only by seeing and understanding that substance that one can understand what Premier League is doing. But such things are kept in obscurity and that is very, very much so for a reason. Many of those Premier League clubs who voted are also kept in such obscurity which is how and why things are pursued.

Shareholder loans cannot be used to get a club over the PSR line. Although if they were it wouldn't be unfair on clubs without them unless they were prevented from obtaining a shareholder loan. Your saying the equivalent that it's unfair we paid 100 million for Grealish because Ipswich couldn't afford to buy a player for 100 million.
If that’s the case then they need to go back over the books of those that had and see if the broke the rules, that’s how it works isn’t it?

The focus (and pressure) now sits with the Independent Commission to publish their findings and provide complete clarity on how and why they arrived at them.

Additionally, it would be helpful for them to informally express their opinion on non compliance by the parties.

City's new deal with Etihad and or FAB are not at risk.

It's only the valu, terms and procedures that are to be determined.

Our success, and growing presence in key global markets, will probably make it a humdinger.

I think he’s just trying to explain it for the average viewer they have, which seems to be about a mental intelligence age of 6. It’s too complicated for most fans who don’t want the detail, just the headline that City “lost”.

The way I see it City have won this battle . We are never going to win the media battle .

Because of our actions the PL has had to bring illegal shareholder loans in line with the law and UEFA rules. This could be the main story, prompting everyone to ask the bigger question about why shareholder loans got the go ahead in the first place ...Instead the PL / client media are using this vote as an opportunity to make City seem the bad guys . No surprise there .

Notice how the media is excusing their shallow reporting by colluding with the average reader /listener with suggestions this is boring and technical so they don't go into the detail and the illegality . Thus they perpetuate the PL Good / City Bad " truth" that most other fans and neutrals would want to hear .

Sky is simply the marketing wing of the PL .
