I enjoyed the montage of big moments over the years, cup finals and old managers. manford was very good, it was great to be there and great to be a blue. seeing all the lads on stage makes me want the season to arrive asap. was feeling so so about football right up until last night. so glad I went, I so nearly ducked it.

freemans?

What a brilliant night! Great tribute to Bert, free beer and food, highlight of the night...... Stood at the urinal next to David Silva!

Did you look?

Had to work last night so missed out.....gutted!!

But hopefully I will make the next one. Sounded like a fantastic night and well done to City.

We have a great club.

Really good night. The club are becoming very good at this sort of thing.

Can only echo what others have said. Manford was brilliant . The screens and acoustics were excellent. The stewarding was very low key and friendly. There was lots of footage from bygone eras. The Bert montage and award made to his son was the highlight of the evening for me.

Despite what the M.E.N. printed, the place didn't erupt when Mancini's face came on the screen.

A great evening all round. Thing is, if it was shit, I could have left after 20 minutes and only been 10 notes out of pocket.

I enjoyed it although I think I had one too many beers, feeling a little ropey today (lightweight!!).

One thing that was a little disappointing was it wasn't a proper Q&A with Pellegrini.. just Jake whathisname asking a few obvious questions. Manford was great though, laughed my tits off.

One wonders if the MEN lifted the "erupt" quote from this thread.

There was quite a big cheer to be fair (sounded that way from standing section 4). Not as big as when Manuel came out on stage though.

Overall it was a great night, wasn't cringey or cheesey but good fun with plenty going on. £10 was a bargain.
