Will the club continue to sell the vast majority of its merchandise exclusively online and in the City Stores, or will we "sell out" to firms like JJB and SportsDirect and have cheap tat on display in such chain stores around the country, ala Scum, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool?

I honestly hope we don't go down this route. I like that fact that our merchandise is almost only available through official outlets.

I do hope they get more accessible since i dont live in Manchester... but that said its still dead easy to order from OS

Exactly, the people who know how to obtain merchandise to so via the correct channels.

Some of the tack thats on display in chain sports stores in cringeworthy. Been all over the country and seen chavs in horrible LFC/CFC/MUFC track tops and the like, people who just brought them because they are successful clubs, I really hope we don't go down this route as it lacks class.

What annoys me is that quite a lot of the stuff available in store is not available online, and quite often when I go online to see whats available, rather than pay the P&P i wait for a week or two till i am over and then discover that it is a "discontinued line", or is out of stock in my size.

There is loads of City gear at slashed prices at Q&S Fashions.

It is official but only much good if you have four legs.

The only problem with restricting the sales to the club shop and internet is that it will open the flood gates to snide copies. At least if we allow other outlets to sell, we see the best of the profit.

I don't see an issue with selling our kit in other outlets, especially if it brings more money in. Some of the new stuff is quite nice, and for those who don't like online shopping, and don't live in Manchester, it would be great to be able to pick the stuff up in another shop.

I live in the states and don't mind ordering from the OS. I just wish we offered more fashionable merchandise like the clubs you mentioned. Classy jackets, shirts, etc. All we have are those generic looking "retro line" items. Thank goodness our kits are so nice.
