Great initiative. A few questions I have:

1. Does Manchester receive enough sunlight for this to be worth it?
2. How come the Etihad itself isn't having any panels put up?

The latter would send quite the statement IMO.

1. Yes, because you don't need direct sunlight but rather just daylight.
2. I suspect the weight would be an issue on the roof. It's way bigger than the campus stadium roof.
 
Has the Sheik developed technology to convert boiled piss into electricity?
I did see something recently about a local council using the warm water that flooded the old mine workings below them into energy so it's definitely possible. Perhaps they could re-plumb the away fans toilets?
 
Not on the MCC planning portal yet. Will keep an eye out for the PA. Might be some good CGI’s included in the PA?

Beeb did a documentary about sewage works in Birmingham a coupe of years ago. On the show the presenter charged up his phone after a visit to the urinal! The tech definitely exists.
