I'm joining this thread a bit late, but here's another link discussing this (sorry if I missed this prior):

Last year, Chelsea played Wrexham at UNC's Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill on July 19. I'm hearing there's a decent chance Chelsea could be playing there this July vs. City as well in the friendly being discussed on page 1 here. Capacity there is about 50.5K, and it sold out last year. Again, nothing confirmed as of yet.

I've also heard City could be making central NC "home base" during that week of July as well, but I probably should "leave it at that" for now. More to come, I'm sure.

Where is NC mate?

North of SC, south of VA. ;-)

North Carolina, nice beaches and cool mountains (Asheville, Boone).

NC can still be muggy like FL, but we don't get those PM storms every day that Fog speaks (correctly) of. ;-)
Too long a drive for me. My wife drove to Myrtle beach once and got bitten by a sand flea. Thankfully it pissed down for a week straight so she didn't have to leave the hotel room with her hideous, swollen face.
