I am the 100004043905934453453 person to ask this, I'm really sorry.

On external training near Fountain St this week (not a City Centre worker) and it finishes at 4:45pm, so need a reliable boozer to watch the match in straight after.

Any recommendations?

can I just ask, if you live in Manchester, you should know where the game will be on, but every game some1 ask where will the game be on. I know where city are on if im watching on tv every game

The only place I know around there where it might be on is The Waldorf, and I'm not the biggest fan of there so I was looking for alternatives that are in a 15 minute walking distance away.

Spoons - Don't have football on.
Piccadilly Tavern - Not sure if it will be on. Always Sky Sports News the few times I've been in.
Brunswick - Not sure if they have football on.
Mother Macs?

I'm either there, watch at home, or watch out of town.

I've said sorry, what else do you want? If you're stuck in Tameside one day and need to watch a city game urgently, you can get fcuked ;-)

Tib St Tavern
Ducie Bridge
Norwegian Blue
The Shakespear
Walkabout Bar

Thank you! The Shakespeare is close to Fountain St so that'll do. Never been in.

Forgot about Tib St Tavern.

Just be aware that Utd are at home tomorrow, so the pubs around Piccadilly & Deansgate will be rammed out with them.

I'll probably be watching in Tib Street if anyone else is around. Off the booze during the week, though, so just look for the poor sod drinking water.

It's as close to Fountain Street as you can get being on it!

Town Hall Taveren is pretty close to fountain street.

The Shakespear is a bit of a dive and won't be full of Rags

I'm off to the Arena after the game, so am looking for somewhere to watch the match before meeting up with the missus somewhere Deansgate way (she gets free parking in Spinningfields and won't want to shlep miles).

I thought Walkabout but will that be full of rags? Is the Town Hall Tav a better option?

There will be rags everywhere. There are loads of Real fans (in both senses) in town as well. Shakespeare is packed out with them.

charming, and why would I want to watch a city game in Tameside when I live in Doncaster, where I know where city games are on
