As much as i think the Sun newspaper is a bag of shite (except the page 3 section of course!) , i can't really see why City are so upset over this ...... it's hardly an earth shattering article.

I dunno, if Barri, Ireland, RSC and Tevez got expensive watches and none of the other players did that would cause a rift.
So I am glad they are taking legal action it's about time this shit stops.

its hardly a damning story though is it? bit of an over reaction i think.

It's not an over-reaction at all, the club are absolutely right to make life as hard as possible for papers that tell blatant lies.

Its not the content....its sending out a message......that they will pursue them if they print lies.

I suspect the club have done that before ...... newspapers rarely get the message ..... and a judge/tribunal might not see this case as being that serious/defamatory.
