Won't load for me though, so am guessing it's Dudu Cearense???

Brazilian midfielder, good in the tackle and in the air, and can pass too apparently. Watched by number of Italian clubs believe for past couple of years. Anyone get the link to load?

*edit* Could be Enzo Maresca actually, didn't realise he was in Greece. Hopefully be link will fixed soon.

Manchester City are close to signing Olympiakos Under-21 international Kyriakos Papadopoulos for 4million euros, according to reports.

Reports from Italy have suggested are closing in on the 18-year-old midfielder, although Bayer Leverkusen are also interested.

City are already looking for the successor to Micah Richards, a Manchester United target, and one of the candidates is the Greek teenager.

Their intention to offer 4million euros for Papadopoulos will be very welcome by Olympiakos at this stage.

Papadopoulos has a contract with the Reds until next summer, but he will not renew it despite Olympiakos' calls for a new deal, as he anticipates the interest of major European clubs.

In view of that the Piraeus club are considering selling this summer so as to avoid losing him for free next year, says <a class="postlink" href="http://www.sportingreece.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.sportingreece.com</a>.

Leverkusen are also reported to be keeping an eye on Papadopoulos, but they are yet to make their move.

That article is terrible, I can't tell if its a joke or not?

It says he is a midfielder, whom will replace Richards who is a RB/CB?!

EY <a class="postlink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyriakos_Papadopoulos" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyriakos_Papadopoulos</a> says he is a CB. confused.

OK, he's a 6 foot defender muted as the next big thing out of Greece (which begs the question, who was the last?!?), buy out clause of €4.6million. Been scouted by Chelsea and the scum, all according to that fountain of knowledge, wikipedia.

Also, I'm interested to see that the player I mentioned above, Dudu, has a buy out clause of €8.5m. AC Milan were after him iirc about the time we signed Elano.

Samaras was the last, come on you so easily forget the stars of yesteryear!
