5-0. Edin to get No. 100 and...................... Ruben to nut that little Norwegian rag bastard.

Happy days.
When they shake hands just before the start Ruben gives him "the Stare"
then whispers" you'll sleep with the fishes tonight.

Fraizer Campbell targets Cardiff City success against Manchester City again
Thursday 16th Jan 2014

Campbell had his best day in a Bluebirds shirt when he was on target twice as City rocked Manuel Pellegrini’s superstars in the Welsh capital back in August

Fraizer Campbell believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Cardiff City can turn the Premier League form book upside down and shock title favourites Manchester City for the second time this season.

Campbell had his best day in a Bluebirds shirt when he was on target twice as City rocked Manuel Pellegrini’s superstars in the Welsh capital back in August.

That historic triumph in City’s first home match in the Premier League ranks as one of the greatest results in the club’s proud history.

The odds are stacked heavily against Solskjaer’s men repeating the feat at Man City’s Fortress Ethiad, where they have a Perfect 10 record this season... played 10, won 10.

Sergio Aguero and co are also chasing their 100th goal of the season, having taken their tally to the 99-mark with Wednesday night’s 5-0 FA Cup thrashing of Blackburn.

But Campbell maintained the Bluebirds were up for the fight and ready to man up against City, declaring: “I hope the game goes same way, we get three points and I score again.

“We will have to play well as a team, defend well and take our chances when they come.

“We beat them earlier in season so hope we can repeat that. If the team around me play well, we play some good football, create chances we can do well.”

Jordon Mutch looks like missing the big match through injury, but Craig Bellamy is ready to start.

Free-scoring Man City will be bolstered by the return of Vincent Kompany, David Silva and Yaya Toure, as well as Aguero.

Don't give a shit what Frazier Campbell says... but the bold part just made me chuckle.

Just Kompany, Silva, Yaya and Aguero, then?

i`d love this to be played before the match

Cardiff will not park the bus. They will park an ocean going container ship. But it won't matter, we'll still get past them, several times. For this, please, whoever else is in, we must have Kolarov and Navas, Navas, Navas. I don't know who man of the match was against Blackburn, but for my money, it was Navas. Might be a surprising choice to some, but he's been a total pest for the opposition in every match he's played for several weeks. As good a buy as Ferny and Beast, and someone that we totally needed. Last season, for all our skill, we were going up the middle every time, the opposition had it sussed and in too many matches were able to deal with it, limiting us to just the one, very late goal to save it (e.g. Swansea, Reading at the Etihad). Now central defenders have to be watching for the defense splitting through ball but also looking out wide, and it's visibly doing their heads in.

Excellent post .. totally concur

and what makes Jesus even more effective is his turn of pace

he started off a little greedy.. but now seems to have bought into Mano's philosophy of the team game.. (see also Dzeko's unselfish control and lay off for Kun's goal last night.) jesus is developing some great 'assist' stats , which is what a winger should be doing !

They have been playing quite an attacking game since the ex rag took over (according to their forums) however they are having a problem scoring goals

I do wish people would stop keep harping on about the Crystal Palace game, sure they made it hard for us, but there were special circumstances and we did what we needed to do

Clean sheet, no bookings or injuries would be good.
Also to stuff them inbred shites to boot.
hey come on man, we're not all bad you know :-(

No, they 're not, actually I quite like the Cardiff fans after that hack on the Swansea f.c. website, that was fucking funny, pity they've a rag as a manager now, 8-0.

I think with the rotation we have seen all the lads are going to start tiring throughout now. Cardiff defended well against Arsenal a few weeks back and lost it in the last few minutes so I think we can expect them to pack up at the back and keep the score down. Just expecting a win of some fashion really and a clean sheet will go down well, 2-0. Bringing my mate down who's a bit of a Chelsea fan but has always had a big soft spot for City, going to be a good game!

lol funnily enough, i put a £5 bet on us to beat Cardiff 8-0 with skybet last night. 100/1

Hope that wins :) might do it myself, asked for odds on Solskjaer to get sent off but no joy

lol i was looking for odds on a 10-0 but the highest they would go to was 8-0.

You just feel that one game we're gonna bury all our chances and a double figure scoreline will be achieved!

Last time everyone got this cocky was against Palace and look what happened there.

Also, Gary Medel basically made Yaya and Fernandinho his b***h last game, so lets not go getting too overconfident here, despite logic telling us we should win easy.

If we score in the first 10-15 mins, we'll win at a canter. Anything after that, it'll be a much lower score.

The team was not working how Pellegrini wanted it to when we played Cardiff away though. We were still all over the place, in transition, call it whatever you want. The team is now fully-functioning, plus we're at home. I think we have reason to be confident. It's normal to be confident - we're the leading goalscorers in European football. If we can't be confident now, when can we be?

There's confident and there's screaming for 8-0's, Pride comes before the fall lads. Just enjoy them when you get it and be happy with any game with a 2 goal cushion.

To be fair though, i don't think anyone ACTUALLY thinks it's going to be 8-0. They're just comments on a message board. Nobody's putting their mortgage on it!
