Having watched that shower last night, a genuine question.

How many of that England team would get a starting place for City, please don't include Hart. At a push only Cahill for me, I don't think many would make our bench.

City have everything that England don't, we have genuine world class defenders, midfielders and forwards, we have players who are global stars and who are respected by their peers. England have Johnson, Jagielka, Baines, Welbeck, Lambert, an ageing Gerrard, Henderson, loved by the English media, ridiculed by the rest of the world.

I would have super Rooney over Dzeko. Baines over Clichy. Sterling over Nasri. Cahill over Demichelis. Probably that's it

I honestly think City - with or without Joe Hart would murder that England side. With Gerrard and Henderson playing so deep England are almost operating without a midfield.

Rooney is the 3rd best player in the world, and Gerrard is Englands greatest leader but he'd never leave Liverpool (hush about that chelsea moment that was a lie by The Sun), Johnson is always attacking and trying for that final ball no matter how impossible the situation might seem, Henderson will be the new Gerrard making him one of the best midfielders ever.

I for one think we should sell all our foreign (read: good) players and replace them with these titans of football.

Honest answer: Sterling and Barkley would make the bench but we'd get significantly better players for the prices quoted.
