My old mans a dustman sung at Southall after the Heath goal.

Hinchcliffe got the better of White on his return but Brightwell knew how to take the "big club" chin on.

Nice picture .....

although for me whenever i think of Everton at Maine Road my mind goes back to that FA Cup replay that we won 3-0 , a night game played in front of about 52,000 .....

it was unbelievable on the packed Kippax that night !

Was in there for the 5-1 Vs Charlton. It was utterly rammed! ...Think that game was one of my greatest games on the old terrace,...oh happy days!

Never known the Kippax as packed as it was that day and that includes derbies.....fucking red hot day as well!

The crowd was officially 47k but I am sure there was more, Swalesy up to his old tricks.

Pitch painted green in patches after a concert. Nice finish by Heath. Remember it all like it was yesterday.

I can still see the move now.........Coton rolled the ball out to our Skipper Paul Lake who was captaing the side for the first time at Maine Road, Lake's long cross field ball to David White was hit first time which put Adrain Heath clean through who let the ball come across his body before calmly slotting past big Nevile Southall - 3 touches from our box to the back of there net. That lad Lake looked a good player :-(

Kendall was building a special team at City until his wife came calling !!

best night on the kippax ,league cup semi 2nd leg against boro, either 4-0 or 4-1, 74 or 76 i'm knockin on now so can't remember the exact date, never ever experienced an atmosphere like that, even better than beating the munichs this year at wembley, wednesday night, pissing down with rain under the lights, crammed in like sardines, awesome

correct me if i,m wrong but wasn,t that the game where norman wisdom did a liitle stint on the pitch before the game.
