We're obvious favourites, I'm cautiously optimistic and think it's going to be a draw or narrow win, Guardiola knows how to deal with Klopp. But have to admit that possible Stones/Otamendi/Dinho blunders worry me.

Here's interesting stats taken from Pool's forum:

"number of matches vs 'big 6' teams since they last lost (in 90 mins):
Klopp: 18
Wenger: 0
Conte: 1
Mourinho: 0
Pochettino: 0
Guardiola: 3"

Its absolutely staggering how good they are against the top sides.

The Anfield Wrap are confident they'll win at ours after nine years. Tributes paid to our scintillating attack, yes, but they feel that having spoken to both David Mooney and Stephen Tudor we'd be content with a point because our 3-man central defence is unresolved and VK may not start.

Incidentally, if you listen to The Graun football podcast, you'll hear The Big Sam has offered (sort of) to join City as defensive coach. He reckons neither us nor Liverpool can win the league because defensively we 'don't care enough'.

Is it me or does nearly every prematch article relates to how Liverpool can win this game? How their attack can undo our defence? How their high pressure game will cause us problems? How Klopp will out think Peps system? How their midfield will control the Game? Etc.
Not one article that says something the other way round. Weird? Surprised? Not really ...

It however reflex on loads on here. Hopefully the ones that will actually be in the stadium show more confidence and create an atmosphere that might actually reflect on the players in blue.

I think liverpool will be conservative in this game - will be wary of our attacking power or should be.

I don't think they will try and overpower us (they save that for games at Anfield) particularly as they have a key Champions League home game on Wednesday. They'll want to be at full power for that.

Disagree. They will be blood and thunder in our faces from the off.

Just hope we have learned how to counter this tactic.

If they are conservative then they will get bummed.

Their defense is not good.
