City v Liverpool - Post Match Thread

Great win for City and a great performance.
Mendy looks amazing and Jesus, KDB, Ederson and Sane are gems.
Not 100% sure about the sending off, I think Ederson was just to quick for Mane. but I know for a fact that if any City player had done that they'd be taking an early bath so glad to see the same application of the rules to Liverpool.

Absolutely. I was a huge Milner fan when he was with us, but he has become a grade A prick since moving to the candle junkies.
He became a grade A prick before he left, with all this "hope to sign a new contract soon" utter bollocks.

He shafted the club, when all we have done is be decent to him.

In doing that, he showed to me he is a classless, self-serving cvnt. I've never boo'd a former player but I would boo him if I'm at a game where he's playing. He's an arsehole.

Being reduced to 10 men is no death sentence. Week in week out teams havery to endure this experience and find out ways to cope. The way they capitulated after the sending off was amusing like they lost their collective brain. I expected them to keep things tight and patiently make attempts to stealing a point using their firepower upfront but they seemed not to know what they were doing. Check opposition forums and you'll see that most agree that Mane's challenge was red-worthy. Yes it made it a lot easier for us but they were always bound to come to us after conceding. Didn't mean they were the better side. I'd say it was 50/50. I think people like @BlueHammer85 are pained that we dicked victimpool and that makes it the more sweeter.

Cheers to all!

Excellent win, Fernandinho MOTM. Hopefully Ederson will be OK.

Only negative for me was Ottamendi who is left for dead against a pacey forward every match. We should have gone for VVD in the window.

It is not the first time Otamendi has been a serious defensive weak link this season...his lack of pace is very worrying against the quicker teams. Maybe Danilo would be a better bet playing behind Mendy.

If you think Otamendi is poor in a high line defence then just thank your lucky stars we didn't get JFE.
