City v Liverpool - Post Match Thread

There's still some big problems in defence that pep needs to work on but I won't dwell on that for now. It's an important 3 points and that's all that matters at the early stages of the league.

About time we clicked.

No doubt MOTD will still put Rag's v Stoke scrappy 2-1 as top billing.

Based on Breakfast Time today it will be 'Liverpool robbed of top spot by awful refereeing decision'.

Unbelievably this morning their preview was how Liverpool could go top for a few hours by winning.

Slightly forgetting someone.

Like who is top now!

Good display that. Wasn't happy with Salah against Ottamendi but we got away with it.
For anyone who is still in doubt:

SERIOUS FOUL PLAY

A tackle or challenge that endangers the safety of an opponent or uses excessive force or brutality must be sanctioned as serious foul play.

Any player who lunges at an opponent in challenging for the ball from the front, from the side or from behind using one or both legs, with excessive force or endangers the safety of an opponent is guilty of serious foul play.

By actually injuring the player you have satisfied the "endangers" clause. So we have a lunge from the front while challenging for the ball that endangered the safety of an opponent.

All that bollox from the sky twats was just them digging themselves deeper into the hole they started by claiming initially that it wasn't a red card. It clearly was and no amount of protest changes that.
